Trip to Borough Market!

Sunday 24^th January – Trip to Borough Market!

Malvern House students took a break from studying in London and were taken around Borough Market by their teacher Niro. The market was full of delicacies from all over the UK and from abroad. A particular highlight was trying Ostrich and Kangaroo meat for the first time!! Afterwards, we all went down to the world famous ‘George Inn’ on Borough High Street. This pub has a real ‘Olde English’ flavour, being over 400 years old!! The students were able to feel the history as it is said that Shakespeare and Charles Dickens both drank and stayed in this pub!!
