Chinese New Year!

Chinese New Year – Sunday 21^st February

 Teachers Jacqueline and and Ali from Kings Cross took a large number of Malvern House students through Chinatown, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square for Chinese New Year. There was a huge parade through Shaftesbury Avenue, with Chinese Dragons and dancers! Then, the focus turned to Leicester Square for fireworks, and to Trafalgar Square for live music and dance performances. These types of events are frequent in the Malvern House social programme and give Malvern House students an excellent way into experiencing and understanding new cultures for the first time and a break from studying English and their university courses in London.
