April 2011 is a month that will never be forgotten; the royal wedding and the extended weekends are just two of the many reasons why we were all celebrating. We hope our students enjoyed the break in their English language courses. But the students and staff at Malvern House were celebrating for very different reasons.
The record breaking temperatures led to a record breaking number of students joining the Malvern House team on our social programme trip to the historic and beautiful seaside town of Brighton.
The Brighton Trip on April 17th 2010, organized by the Malvern House social team, saw a huge surge in international students signing up to join the Malvern House staff on a day trip to Brighton.
We here at Malvern House and over 60 of our English language students spent our Sunday bathing in the scorching sun. After a guided tour of historic Brighton town Centre, led by Malvern House social programme coordinator Niroshan, students and staff enjoyed a swim in the sea (well brave teacher George did anyway!!) followed by a day of amazing Thai food with a complimentary Thai cooking lesson and frisbee on the beach, ending our perfect day with free chocolate courtesy of some of the exhibiters who proudly displayed and sold their chocolate for the yearly Brighton Chocolate festival.
It was an amazing day out which was enjoyed by more of our English language students than ever before. If you missed it, you missed out!
