Course aims:

With the Business English Projects course you will:

  • Build your Business English language skills and develop the business skills necessary for your career.
  • Communicate more confidently, effectively, accurately and fluently in both written and spoken English.
  • Build confidence in using English in real-life situations such as emails and meetings, combined with working successfully in a cross-cultural environment.
  • Improve your understanding of grammar to allow you to work more successfully in English.
  • Add value to your CV with a specific Business English course.
  • Get the closest thing to "work experience" that you can receive in the classroom.

Course description:

In this project-based business course, students will participate in 4 one-week self-contained projects that simulate real work scenarios. Guided by their teacher, students will work in small groups, gaining experience of team work, time management, meeting deadlines, and presenting ideas. Experience the brainstorming, debate, negotiation and excitement of delivering your week’s real project to deadline. A 4-week programme leads to a Malvern House Business English Projects Certificate. The course can be taken alone, or added to another main programme for a super-intensive course (40 lessons per week).
