Malvern House

A break from London

Students of Malvern House London look what we got up too last weekend!

Last Sunday 25th April, teachers Niro, Katie Lake, James, Jackie and Jess took 81 – yes 81 Malvern House students down to Brighton!! As with the trip to Hadleigh earlier in the month, we virtually commandeered 3 carriages and headed off to Brighton, sun cream in hand! Highlights of the trip: being invited on an anti-racist demonstration, going bargain hunting at Snoopers’ Paradise – a wonderful, quintessentially British shop of old delights, Jackie coming a close second in a game of ‘Dolphin Derby’ on the Brighton Pier, the photo session next to the Brighton Pavilion, the two Brazilian students throwing off their clothes the minute we got to the beach, to jump willingly into the ice cold Brighton sea… it was really a day to remember and great weather to visit Brighton, you don’t get the sea studying in London.

And if you feel like you want to experience the very same things as are mentioned above, check out the May Social Programme, because we will be returning to both places plus going to many other new places in the coming month…

Till next time,
