Last week we took some lovely students with Malvern House teachers James and Steve to Hadleigh Castle and Leigh-On-Sea (right) in Essex.
Back to one of my favorite places, where the Thames meets the sea! We then walked to the castle, through the hills and countryside, and only just managed to beat the rain and looming black clouds! All the Malvern House students stayed smiling and we took some lovely pictures of the green fields. After a quick spot of lunch, we headed back into the tiny fishing village to sample the local specialty foods, whelks, cockles and jellied eels! A good meal of fish and chips, a rest on the beach to watch the boats and then back on the train to London town in time for tea! A wonderful day out!
